CNC Machinist with Programming Skills (EU Citizens Only)

Hourly Rate: €17-18/hour (gross), with averaging leave/Pekkanen of 12.5 days per year, paid when used.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program horizontal Mazak-controlled lathe machines, handling small-series parts (approximately 20 cm in size, up to a few hundred grams).
  • Work with materials such as castings, welded structures, and black steel.
  • Perform independent programming, including tool selection, setting adjustments, and desktop programming.
  • Interpret technical drawings accurately to support precise programming.

Requirements:

  • Proven CNC machinist experience with Mazak-controlled lathes and programming skills.
  • Ability to work independently on programming, tool selection, and machine adjustments.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
  • Communicative English or Finnish language skills.
  • EU citizenship (applicants from EU countries only).
  • Flexibility for a potential two-shift system.
